2019年4月10日晚上6点到10点，在图文信息楼409举行了第六次CEO’s Workshop，同学们分为两组，依次汇报了自己的研究内容与成果，分别得到了三位来自国外的教授的指导与鼓励。在一次次的汇报中，同学们不断学习、改进，不断突破自我，大胆交流，令人惊喜。
下面是参与汇报的6位同学对本次workshop的感想：

Today’s talking with different professors is quite inspiring to me because it’s just so nice to have excellent professional people knowing and judging the work we have been doing. It makes me feel more motivated and the research seems to be more real ever. I do learn lots of skills and knowledge in the process both for communicating and understanding. It’s so nice to talk, also it’s my first time to use Zoom(ha ha), so trying new things is another good thing. Nevertheless, I still need to learn more theoretical basis because in fact only by reading some parts in our files are very abstract and hard to understand as it’s my first year. Professional knowledge is what I lack of. Anyway, it’s lucky to be in the institute and work with these students and professors.

Today, we present the finding from the Japanese company to3 professors. They give us many useful advises, so we can improve our presentation skills. It’s an excellent experience. In the workshop, we have analyzed many questionnaires and interviewed the CEO, I think it’s very interesting. Also, we learned some new theory to analyze the data, it helps me to understand how the social media work in the company.

This is my first time to give a presentation to some professors from other countries. It is amazing and leave me a deep impression.
For my research, we collected the questionnaires, did some analysis about the data and had an interview with the CEO, we want to know more things about the technologies, the ERP, email and some social media, what do they think about these technologies, and how do they use them. From that, I get more knowledge about the effects of social media, something more about the companies, the business process, the employees, we can see there are many differences in terms of the social media the different companies would like to use.
So, I think it very interesting and meaningful, and I want to do more research about that, and I enjoy the time with my partners and John. I like it!

这是我第一次向一些来自其他国家的教授作展示。这太神奇了，给我留下了深刻的印象。

After a long time’s preparation, we finally met the professors from other countries on Zoom. We separated to two groups, one for high tech and another for Japanese company. Each of us introduces our analysis and findings on SM and BPM to professors. And they also made some comments to improve our research and even communicating skills. It’s really exciting to take class like this!

Today, three different professors give us feedback about our case study. They suggested that we should give keywords in the PowerPoint and also add more comparison to the different companies. While collecting data, I found it hard to distinguish the statistical difference which is important in analysis. The way John connects us directly to other companies and professors abroad makes us more interactive and involved in the study. First, we had a meeting with 3 of the CEOs. Then, we talked with the CEO online one to one. Finally, we presented our result together with all the CEOs. Such kind of studying did boost my thoughts. Exciting!

This is the first time to have a video conference with my partners, we report our findings and add some explanations, both from the comments made by the workers and CEO interview. We are glad to have the opportunity to give the presentation through Zoom and received the feedback as well as the comments from the professors. Additionally, thanks to the questions raised by the professors, we got some flash ideas and understand what we should improve. It is an interesting and meaningful experience for me and I can learn a lot from it. I am glad to take part in the workshop.
