| 中国强国梦需要培育一批世界一流的跨国公司，但是世界一流跨国公司的成长受到母国因素的影响。本文在综述跨国公司成长驱动因素基础上，从宏观、中观、微观等3个层次分析了世界一流跨国公司成长的国际化与创新双轮驱动，并利用1996～2011年7个主要国家进入世界500强企业的面板数据，构造国家层面的世界一流跨国公司发展水平指数，对世界500强企业成长的母国因素进行实证分析。结果显示，世界一流跨国公司成长需要母国较高收入水平的经济基础、强大出口竞争力的产业基础、大量对外直接投资的国际化升级、高R&D强度的创新基础。政府支持和外汇资源利用对于中国启动世界一流跨国公司成长具有十分重要的作用。 |

| The Empirical Analysis of Home Country’s Effect on the Growth of Top Transnational Corporations |

| Abstract: |
| We need a large amount of world first class transnational corporations to realize the Chinese Dream, but these top transnational corporations’growth will be influenced by factors from different kinds of perspectives, like macro, median and micro, which are the growth foundation for top transnational corporations’innovation and internationalization. Using the panel data of seven countries from 1996 to 2011, the paper constructs a national index of top transnational corporations, and empirically analyzes home country’ s effect on the growth of Fortune 500. It reveals that top transnational corporations’growth requires a large amount of their home countries’FDI, comparatively high income as economic base, high competitiveness of export as industrial base, high R&D intensity as innovation base, as well government support and utilization of foreign exchange. The growth of Chinese transnational corporations needs positive policies on internationalization and innovation. |
