An Introduction of Japanese Economic Research Centre
(Shanghai University of International Business and Economics)
上海对外经贸大学日本经济研究中心成立于2008年5月。现在本中心为上海市日本学会理事单位之一。中心设立的宗旨在于以开展日本经济研究为重点,推动中日两国之间在政治、经济、社会、文化等领域全方位的研究和交流。希望通过日本经济研究中心这一平台,“以点带面”,进一步充实上海对外经贸大学在东亚经济领域方面的研究。
1. 本中心的研究领域主要涉及日本的宏观经济政策、日本的产业政策、日本的对外直接投资和贸易、中日经济合作、中日环境与能源合作等领域。目前拥有研究人员8名,国内外兼职研究人员10余名。
2.本中心在与日本相关科研机构、高校展开科研合作与国际学术交流的同时,还进一步加强与全国各省市的横向科研合作与学术交流,为推动日本经济研究提供一个切实可靠的科研与学术交流基地。
3.本中心为了实现以日本经济研究为中心、兼顾中日两国政治、经济、社会、文化等领域学术交流的宗旨,将每年举行一次大型国际学术研讨会,举办1-2次小型学术研讨会。会议将邀请国内外知名专家学者参加,共同探讨中日两国以及东亚各国在经济发展中所存在的突出问题。
4. 本中心为了培养21世纪中日经贸领域的研究和应用人才,计划定期邀请国内外专家学者来我中心讲学,为广大日本经济研究工作者、本校国际贸易研究生和国际贸易、国际投资本科生创造良好的研究、学习条件。
5.本中心为了推动对日本经济的研究,将为本校研究人员在日本经济领域的科研提供良好的研究和工作环境。
The Japanese Economic Research Centre , Shanghai University of International Business and Economics was established in May,2008.It is one of the council members of Shanghai Japan Society nowadays. The supposed aim of this Centre is to carry out researches focusing on Japan's economy and push forward a full range of research and exchange inpolitical, economic, social and cultural fields between China and Japan. The Centre hopes to use this platform promoting and further enriching all the research fields in East Asian economies of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics panoramically.
1. The research work of this Centre mainly involves with fields like Japanese macroeconomic policies, industrial policies, foreign direct investment and trade, Sino-Japanese economic co-operations, and the environmental and energy areas as well. At present there are 8 researchers and more than 10 part time staff both at home and abroad.
2. In carrying out research co-operations and international academic exchanges with related Japanese research institutions, meanwhile this Centre also further strengthens the same efforts with domestic counterparts at different levels, as to promote the study of Japanese economy and provide a practical and reliable base for scientific research and academic exchange.
3. In order to achieve the aim of targeting the study of Japanese economy as its core, while taking into account the academic exchanges within political, economic, social, and cultural fields between China and Japan, The Centre scheduled to hold a major international symposium, and 1 or 2 seminars every year. Such meetings will invite well known experts and scholars both at home and abroad, so as to explore and discuss the prominent problems or issues existed in the economic development between China and Japan as well as in East Asian countries.
4. In order to bring up and train the research and application talented within the fields of Sino-Japanese economy and trade, this Centre scheduled to invite experts and scholars both at home and abroad regularly to give their lectures. So as to create a fine research and learning atmosphere for mass Japanese economy research staff, graduate students of international trade, as well as under graduate students of international investment, etc.
5. In order to promote the study of Japanese economy, this Centre promised to provide a good study and working environment for those research staff of this Institute who are studying within this major area.
