GL/AR Manager – Top Luxury Brand – CBD, Shanghai
Our client company is a Top Luxury goods company controlled by the world’s largest luxury group. The company designs and retails fashion products throughout its portfolio of retail stores worldwide. Now they are expanding aggressively in Asia region, especially in China. As their business fast growth, they now seek GL/AR Manager to join in their Finance team.
Location: CBD, Shanghai
Reporting to: Finance Director
Subordinates: 3
Responsibilities
•Lead accounting teams with focus on general ledger, payroll, FA and inventory accounting and ensure compliance with corporate and local policies, statutory requirements and IFRS
•Responsible for month-end closing and ensure accurate reporting on timely basis
•leads the IHC budget and rolling forecast process and conduct routine analysis of all balance sheet accounts
•Prepare SG&A reports by cost center and monthly SG&A spending analysis and participate in internal audits, statutory audits and tax reviews
•Provide support to Senior Finance Manager
Requirements:
•Requires approximately over eight years of work experience in GL accounting, with three years of experience in managing people
•Good communication skill / good interface with different function people
•Have a strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
•In-depth knowledge of IFRS & PRC GAAP is essential, additional knowledge in SAP or other ERP would be advantageous
•Self-starter, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, change orientation, ability to work effectively in a team across diverse culture and local business practices
